OpenAmeos 9 and 10

At this time, there are 2 major versions of OpenAmeos available, OpenAmeos 9 and OpenAmeos 10:

• OpenAmeos 9 is the UML 1.x compliant version which is primarily used for existing projects which don't need UML 2 features.
• OpenAmeos 10 is the first version to support UML 2 which we recommend to use for new projects.
  

Presently, there is no automated migration between OpenAmeos 9 and 10. 9.x projects can be rebuilt in OpenAmeos 10, but further manual corrections might be necessary. Please contact ScopeSET for further information in regards to migration help.

While we strive towards synchronizing the non UML related improvements and bug fixes between the 2 versions, some features and bug-fixes might exist in only one version. For the foreseeable future, ScopeSET will maintain and support both versions - eventually, the 9.x version will however be superseded by OpenAmeos 10. At that point, customers with maintenance subscriptions will have full migration support.
