OpenAmeos is the multi-platform/multi-user UML® Modeling Environment with unique support for UML 2.0 Profiles, MDA® based Model Transformation and support for color to visualize semantics.
OpenAmeos supports all UML1.x diagram types and is presently in the process of moving towards UML2. MDA based code generation templates are available for Java, C++, C, Ada95, C#. Additional templates and profiles support platforms such as RavenScar or the Java High-Integrity-Platform (HIP).
OpenAmeos also includes customizable report generation facilities for HTML and RTF reports, model-management support and shared repository access for multi-user and multi-site projects.
Because of its flexibility and customization features, OpenAmeos can be used for a wide range of project domains. As of today it is successfully used in a lot of commercial projects, especially in the automotive and avionics/space industry.

New binary download versions of OpenAmeos will be available several times a year. Future plans include
- integration of an open source database system as the repository server
- implementation of a specific profile for formal verification of embedded systems
- integration of tool for formal verification
